Welcome to our blog.In this blog we are going to gain some important Information about NDA (National Defence Academy) and how to join NDA.NDA is one of the most prestigious exam which most students wants to qualify.If you are a class 12 student and you want to serve the nation by joining any of Army,Navy or Air force then you must have to qualify the NDA examination.But it is also one of the toughest exam after class 12 and only few students get selected in this.Let's know some important things about NDA examination which help in improving your chance of clearing the examination.NDA examination is conducted twice every year in month of April and September.It is conducted on National Level by UPSC i.e Union public Service Commission.

NDA exam Eligibility Criteria:-

To be eligible for NDA examination  The candidate must be Unmarried.

  • The candidate must pass class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as one of the compulsary subject.
  • Class 12 appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA examinaton.
  • The candidate must be physically fit.
  • Candidate age must be between 16 years 6 month to 19 years 6 month.
  • Minimum Height of candidate is 157 cm.
  • For navy and Air force minimum percentage in class 12 is 60%.



Availability of form and exam date:-

NDA examination is held in month of April and September.Application form .
  • For April month exam form is available in December.
  • For September month Exam form is available in month of June.

NDA exam paper pattern:-


  • Two Papers are conducted in exam first is Mathematics and second is General Ability test(English and GK).
  • Exam duration for each paper is 2:30 Hours.
  • Maths paper have 120 questions of 300 marks .
  • General ability have 150 questions in all and comprises of 600 marks.
  • Paper is available in English and Hindi both languages.
  • There is negative marking for each wrong answers.


NDA Syllabus:-


Mathematics:-       class 11+12
                          important topics are algebra,calculus ,3d,vector,trigonometry,matrices and                                     determinants,statistics and probability.

General Ability:-
  • Physics
  • Chemistry 
  • General Science 
  • History and Freedom Movement 
  • Geography 
  • Current Events 


SSB interview round:-

After Clearing NDA written examination successful candidates are called for SSB interview round.This is the main hurdle which student must have to clear for getting selected in NDA. In which different tests are conducted such as-Physical test,Group Discussion,Personal Interview ,Aptitude test,etc

Training:


After clearing all exams and tests candidates are send for training according to their posts which is of period 3+1 years.
You also have to complete the training successfully to get selected in the Army,Navy Or Air force.
