"Engineering" we all are familier with this word from our childhood.Engineering is the dream of most of the students and parents in our country.Almost every student of maths group want to be a successful engineer.So this is considered one of the best carrier option for a maths group student.
A successful Engineer have good salary packages and respect in the society.So ,the question that rises in the mind is how can anyone became a engineer?

 The most common  answer is "B.tech".B.tech stands for bachelor of technology.B.tech is a Technical undergraduate course after completion of this course a student is awarded the engineering degree.B.tech course is comprises of 4 years which have total of 8 semesters.

The eligibility criteria for Admission in b.tech are-

The minimum eligibility for candidates is candidate must passed  class 12 with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biotechnology/Biology with a minimum percentage of 50 percent marks in total .(Different universities have different minimum percentage criteria)

To get admission in engineering college a student have to qualify the entrance exam conducted for government  colleges and different private college.In private college a student can take direct admission also through management quota.

This is the one of the main question that arises i.e, the placement and job profile of a b.tech student.So,An average  b.tech graduate salary start from 20,000 to 30,000 RS. per month as a fresher.After experience They can get engineering job in well known MNCs such as Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, BHEL, SAIL, Tata Motors,   DRDO, Bajaj,etc. with a good salary packages.

Salary of b.tech graduate depends upon factors such as college ,skill ,experience etc.

 If we are  talking about average engineering colleges then  on an average a fresher can get salary package of 20-30 thousand per month , And after gaining some experience of 2-3 years in the industry they can see good increment in their salary which can be from 35-50 thousand.

While students from Some of reputed colleges such as IITs ,NITs,BITs, and some other reputed government and private colleges  can easily get a handsome average packages of about 7-15 lakhs rupees per annum , and maximum domestic(In India)  package can be about 25-30 lakh rupees per annum. While outside India they can get even  package of 50 lakh rupees to 1 crore or more.
This is the main reason why people are crazy for IITs,NITs etc.


Further Studies

After successfully completing the B.tech degree course students can further take admission in M.tech or MBA courses Which help in enhancing their knowledge and carrier opportunities.
